Working at Heights Refresher Training
Working at Heights training is valid for three years from the date of completion; for many workers that means it’s time for mandatory WAH Refresher Training.
This half-day course combines classroom learning and hands-on activities. Topics covered include:
• The Fall Protection Hierarchy
• Hazard Elimination/Guardrails/Barriers
• Fall Protection Systems
• Work Access Equipment and Platforms
Who needs Refresher training: ALL individuals who have completed MOL/CPO approved Working at Heights training are required to complete refresher training every three years. The date of expiry for your training can be found on your CPO-issued WAH proof of completion certificate.
Falls from heights are still a leading cause of injuries in our industry. WAH training or refresher training reinforces best practices and reminds workers about the importance of proper safety practices.
